Jansons acquired this property on an unconditional basis in 2013. It comprised of an office block, surface car parking and two retail units. It is located in Wokingham town centre and was ideally suited to be re-developed for residential purposes. In 2016 the site was sold to Carey New Homes who have completed the development.
Following extensive discussions, our Planning Application for 39 new build private residential units was submitted in 2015 for our landmark scheme. It provided 1:1 car parking and enabled Peach Street to be re-positioned to enable highway improvements.
Despite being recommended for refusal we secured unanimous consent considered by Wokingham Borough Council’s Planning Committee.
