Askett Nursery, Buckinghamshire
Jansons secured an interest in this property in 2013. It comprised of Askett Nursery, an active garden centre and café, together with the adjacent field.
It is located on the outskirts of Askett and was ideally suited to be re-developed for residential purposes. Following detailed planning consent being secured in 2019 Jansons are reviewing as to whether to build out the approved scheme or sell to one of the numerous interested parties.
Following extensive discussions with Wycombe District Council our Planning Application for 5 new build private residential units was submitted and approved in 2019.
The scheme had to be carefully prepared to take into account the current level of development on site, being in the Green Belt and AONB. This seeks to replicate a farmhouse, together with outbuildings which will serve as private residential units.
