RESPONSIBLE DEVELOPMENT

Committed to building a sustainable future.

Jansons are a Property Developer, Property Investor and Land Promoter working in a long-standing Joint Venture with the William Pears Group.

Active across all sectors, we utilise our in-house expertise to quickly assess a site for the use we believe creates most value. We can move quickly, purchasing sites unconditionally with an extensive track record of successful developments whilst always acting with transparency and integrity.

Achievements

Since we were founded in 2003, we have completed 40+ projects and we are proud of every single one. These are across a broad range of sectors, locations and deal structures. From unconditional purchases, subject to planning, options and promotional agreements we have found a way to make each project work best for us and also the vendor.

Our Story

The below timeline outlines the story so far of how we have evolved as a property investor and developer.

1990

Jansons & Partners

Founded

A commercial property Chartered Surveying practice, based out of Uxbridge. The practice expanded over a period of 13 years to be one of the major provincial London agency practices.

2003

Jansons West London & Thames Valley Ltd

Founded

A major prerequisite for Andy was to work with a main, undoubted, Investor/Development/Backer. To this extent Andy was very humbled to be introduced to the William Pears Group, and subsequently set up an equally owned venture.

2004

VW Audi, Chiswick

First Development

The acquisition of a former car showroom from VW Audi on the high road in Chiswick, refurbished and subsequently let to Halfords and the investment sold.

2008

Travelodge, Bath Road, Heathrow

LARGEST MODULAR CONSTRUCTED HOTEL

At the time one of the biggest Travelodge’s in the UK but also the largest modular constructed hotel at the time. The building was constructed from Verbus shipping containers sourced from CIMC in China and stacked similarly to a Lego set.

2013

UNESCO World Heritage Site

SoCo, Edinburgh

Jansons undertook the refurbishment of a UNESCO World Heritage located building, developing a site in Edinburgh called SoCo. Creating a mix of uses including an IBIS Hotel, a Sainsbury Local Store and a Costa Coffee.

2018

First Student Scheme

Houghall Court, Durham

Working with Unite Students, Jansons secured planning permission for a 222 bedroom student housing scheme, part conversion but predominantly new build.
