Last week was a big week in the Jansons’ social calendar. As well as the 100 Property Club Ruby Anniversary Christmas dinner, it was also the Jansons team Christmas Party.

First, on Tuesday, was the 100 Property Club dinner, held this year at the Intercontinental Hotel, Park Lane. This is a prestigious event and an opportunity not only to treat some valued clients to an interesting evening, but also network with the top end of the property community and raise money for charity. This year’s chosen charity was The Sam Beare Hospice, which provides training and reference literature to 400 schools in Surrey and works to enhance counselling services and facilities to ensure greater support for bereaved children.  Our guests were Michael Baker (William Pears Group), Steve Cropper (Cropper & C0), Johanna Lunstrom (Sol Melia Hotels), Andrew Ilsley (Robert Stephens & Co), Nick Johnson (Trinity Land) and Claire Hughes (Pinsent Masons).

The guest speaker was Max Clifford, who added extra colour to the occasion by bringing along Chris Eubank. The dinner was very good indeed, the beef cooked to perfection, which is not easy for so many diners. There was an auction to raise funds for the Hospice, including a kind donation by the West London Shooting Club School, where we regularly shoot (see other blogs on this site).

Onto Friday, and the Jansons Team Christmas dinner. Before she went on maternity leave, Lynda chose to book the James Bond themed evening at Stoke Park, once used as a location in Goldfinger, a great choice as it turned out. Stoke Park looked it’s usual impressive self, the tables were beautifully decorated and each was named after a Bond film. Wine and cocktails flowed throughout dinner and, afterwards, we repaired to the casino and the dance floor. Trying to arrange everyone for the group photo was not easy, but the photographer was determined and professional and the result is at the top of this blog.

Jansons would like to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and a ProsperousNew Year. We look forward to working with you in 2013.
