Weekends are often reserved for rest and relaxation, a couple of days to disconnect from one’s duties and immerse one’s self into life outside of the day job. This was not the case for Andy Jansons and Paul Nash of Jansons Property, the pair trekked an arduous 24 miles, up three peaks in an impressive eleven hours!

The purpose of taking on this challenge was to raise funds in support of the Alexander Jansons Fund, a charity created following the death of Alexander Jansons from Myocarditis. Myocarditis is a virus which attacks the heart and affects individuals of all ages but most frequently in the young. The fund has pledged a minimum of £80,000 per year to fund research and activities relating to Myocarditis.

So far the three peaks challenge raised £1,570, an amount which we are very grateful for. However, we require further generous donations to reach our fundraising target of £2,000. The funds raised will go towards research into the causes, prevention, cures for Myocarditis and an overall aim of increasing awareness of the condition. Any donation you can make will be much appreciated by the Jansons team.
