(Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom) Friday, 12th June 2026:- Thames Valley businesses have helped raise more than £150,000 for Myocarditis UK since the Jansons Rowing Cup was launched, with this year;s event generating a further £15,500 for the charity.

Held at Dorney Lake on Wednesday 10 June, the 11th annual Jansons Rowing Cup brought together over 100 professionals from across the property, legal, planning, finance and business sectors for a day of competition, networking and fundraising in support of life- saving myocarditis research.

Hosted by Jansons Property in aid of Myocarditis UK, the event has become a popular fixture in the regional business calendar, attracting companies from across Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and the wider Thames Valley.

This year, teams from the following businesses took to the water:-

  • Berkeley Strategic
  • Blue Coast Capital
  • Burrows Graham
  • Forsters
  • Haslams
  • KAM Project Consultants
  • Lewis & Partners
  • RG+P
  • Ridge
  • Turley
  • UMC Architects
  • Urban Partners
  • Volvo Financial Services UK

Following a closely contested series of Cornish gig races, Berkshire-based Real Estate Consultancy Ridge emerged victorious for the second consecutive year, successfully defending the title they won in 2025. Blue Coast Capital finished as runners-up after an impressive performance throughout the day.

Andy Jansons, founder of Myocarditis UK and Managing Director of Jansons Property, said: “The Rowing Cup has always been about bringing people together to support an important cause, and this year was another fantastic example of what can be achieved when the business community gets behind something meaningful.”

“To raise more than £15,500 in a single day is a tremendous achievement. Combined with the support we’ve received over the last eleven years, the event has now contributed approximately £150,000 towards myocarditis research and awareness. That is something everyone who has taken part should be incredibly proud of.”

Myocarditis UK funds research into the causes, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the condition while also supporting patients and families affected by the disease. The Jansons Rowing Cup was established to raise awareness of the condition while creating an opportunity for businesses to come together outside the workplace, strengthen relationships, and support a shared cause.

Andy added: “One of the things I enjoy most about the event is seeing businesses that may normally be competitors working together, supporting each other and having fun, all while helping to fund vital research. The atmosphere on the day was fantastic and we’re hugely grateful to every business and individual who took part.”

As the event enters its second decade, Jansons Property hope to continue building on its success and further increase support for Myocarditis UK and its research programmes. To find out more about Myocarditis UK or make a donation, visit www.myocarditisuk.com.
