Jansons Property is pleased to be sponsoring the BerksProp Summit 2026, bringing together leading figures from the property industry, local government, and the business community to explore the opportunities shaping Berkshire’s future.
Taking place on Thursday 5 November at Reading Town Hall, the summit, organised by UK Property Forums, will examine whether Berkshire is on the cusp of a new period of growth and what needs to happen to unlock its full economic potential.
Under the theme New Chapter, New Stories, the event will explore the drivers of investment, development and regeneration across the county, against a backdrop of changing economic priorities and proposals for greater regional devolution.
As an established property developer and investor in the Thames Valley and West London, Jansons Property will contribute to two of the day’s key discussions, with Managing Director Andy Jansons joining industry experts to share his perspective on the regional property market and the opportunities emerging across the industrial and logistics sectors.
Putting Berkshire’s property market in focus
Andy Jansons will join the opening panel, Berks Prop Market Update, alongside David Peycke, Managing Director of TA Fisher, and Sarah Duffield, Director at Turley.
Chaired by Matthew Battle, Director of UK Property Forums, the session will highlight some of the most significant property projects currently in development across Berkshire, offering insights into investment activity, market sentiment and future opportunities.
With more than four decades of experience in the property sector, Andy will bring a developer and investor’s perspective to the discussion, drawing on Jansons Property’s extensive track record across the Thames Valley and its continued focus on identifying opportunities for commercial development.
Supporting the next generation of industry clusters
Later in the morning Jansons Property’s Development Director, Tom Jansons, will also participate in Cluster Buster, a panel exploring the growth of emerging and expanding business sectors across Berkshire, including defence, data centres, film studios and industrial development.
The discussion will consider how the property industry can support these clusters and what is needed to ensure their long-term success.
Tom will be joined by representatives from Vail Williams, SEGRO, Stantec and the Thames Valley Skills & Business Hub.
For Jansons Property, the discussion is particularly relevant to its ongoing focus on industrial and logistics development across West London and the Thames Valley.
The region’s strategic location, established business community and access to major transport networks continue to underpin its appeal to occupiers and investors. However, ensuring that suitable commercial space is available to accommodate changing business requirements remains an important consideration.
As businesses invest in new technologies, infrastructure and operational capabilities, the property sector has a significant role to play in supporting their growth.
A shared vision for Berkshire’s future
Beyond the individual property sectors, the summit will address some of the wider issues influencing Berkshire’s economic development.
Discussions will include the potential implications of a Thames Valley Mayoral Strategic Authority, the regeneration of Berkshire’s town centres and the refreshed Reading 2050 vision.
Together, these sessions will explore how local authorities, developers, investors and businesses can work more closely to attract investment, support employment and create places that respond to the region’s changing needs.
For a county with six unitary authorities, greater collaboration and a coordinated approach to economic development will be important themes throughout the day.
Investing in Berkshire’s future
Jansons Property has a longstanding commitment to the Thames Valley, with a portfolio and development track record spanning industrial, commercial and residential property.
The recent acquisition of a 4.5-acre site at Thames Valley Park in Reading reflects the company’s continued confidence in the region and its long-term investment potential.
Participation in the BerksProp Summit provides an opportunity to contribute to the wider conversation about Berkshire’s future, while sharing practical insights from the perspective of an active developer and investor.
Jansons Property is proud to support the BerksProp Summit 2026 as an event sponsor, alongside Stantec, SEGRO, REDA and DevComms.
The event takes place on Thursday 5 November 2026 at the Victoria Rooms, Reading Town Hall, bringing together representatives from across the public and private sectors to consider the next chapter in Berkshire’s growth story.
