Friday, 28th Sept. and we headed back to the West London Shooting Club School for another morning of sharp shooting and marksmanship. The run up wasn’t looking good, the weather had taken a definite turn for the worse and what can barely be described as summer was truly over.

Luckily, the rain held off and the morning was brisk. Our guests assembled and we were taken through the safety procedures and agenda for the morning. Regardless of the weather, the grounds of the West London Shooting Club looked as magnificent as ever, you’d never know you are only moments from the A40.

The competition was as keen as the weather. The Team Flush winners were Huw’s team of Simon Lee, Nick Johnson and Huw. The overall winner and Top Gun was Simon Lee. Nick Johnson scored next highest, so they won’t be teamed together in future! We repaired to the clubhouse and, bottles of Champagne duly handed out to the winners, tucked into a full English breakfast and much needed hot tea and coffee.
