Tom Jansons
Tom started his career in 2012 at North-West London commercial agency VDBM where he was involved in lettings and investment transactions in the local market. This was a fantastic grounding in the property market, jumping straight in at the deep end, negotiating deals in a tough local market with a wide variety of property owners and tenants. This was where he found his love for the fast-paced world of real estate and decided to join Bray Fox Smith in London in 2016 working in the commercial occupational and investment team throughout the West London and Thames Valley markets. During this time Tom completed a Masters degree in Real Estate at London Southbank University and obtained RICS Chartered Surveyor status.
In 2019 Tom joined Jansons Property with a focus on acquiring sites by utilising his wide contact base and to ensure Jansons Property has plenty of pipeline to build out in the future. He also involves himself in the process post-acquisition, ensuring planning runs smoothly in conjunction with the business plan on which the project was purchased and overseeing the facilitating of a fully let scheme once built out. He always has an eye on protecting the future valuation of the asset and implementing the correct strategy for this. Tom is currently studying at Cambridge University for a Masters degree in Sustainability Leadership for the Built Environment where he sees a strong business opportunity in the real estate market over the coming decade.
Tom’s free time is football and family focused. He loves playing football but his aging, dilapidated knees and ankles are screaming at him to give up. If he is not playing football then he often endures the self-inflicted trauma of watching West Ham play, quite regularly questioning if it is an adequate use of his free time. Tom’s real passion is spending as much time as possible with his 2-year-old daughter and his fiancé.
