A night of unity and camaraderie for a meaningful cause, leading with this description feels like an oversimplification. However when considering the energy and support shown for the Alexander Jansons Fund last night, it’s no surprise the footage from the evening all oozes the type cheerful exuberance only a night of laughter can imbue. The laughter was usually at the expense of Andy Gomarsall’s eccentric team mates.

The night began with various beverages in the communal area allowing the long list of attendees to become well acquainted with one another, I believe the business term is “networking”. Many of the guests were friends and regular collaborators of Jansons Property, therefore not much ice needed to be broken. As the night progressed following a welcome speech from our fearless leader, Andy Jansons, the delicious dinner went further to encourage positive energies throughout the room. There’s something about a plate of food that makes an evening particularly more appetising. It also prepared guests for what was described on the itinerary as an appeal but can only be described as a call to action. Andy followed by an enthusiastic Dr. Sanjay Prasad put on a heart-warming yet informative display. Guests were given a clear understanding of the importance of the work being carried out through the Alexander Jansons Fund for research on Myocarditis. A cause so important undoubtedly struck a chord with the guests no doubt aiding their understanding of how their contribution could be turned in a solution for anyone fighting the condition. Better yet, preventing someone from the pain of fighting  Myocarditis all together.

The night moved on to the video highlights of our honoured guest Andy Gomarsall, which was followed by a supremely entertaining Q&A. Mr. Gomarsall seemed to have the guests at his finger tips with captivating stories about his heyday as a professional rugby player. A particular source of hilarity was a story that involved a phoenix and pheasant, one might say the rest of that story would be better told by the man himself.  The final section of the evening was the “Auction”, this added a fun factor to the charitable energy in the room. It also gave guests an opportunity to display their support for the Alexander Jansons Fund undeniably inspiring others to follow suite. In the end, A Night With Andy Gomarsall was a night to remember, we made £14, 685.00 and took positive step for the Alexander Jansons Fund.
