Jansons have highlighted retail as a prominent arm of the commercial sector and are focusing on land suitable for in-town and out-of-town development. We have found that mixed use sites consisting of food stores, drive throughs and other well performing retail outlets are proving favourable with planners and are great value drivers. Operators are still keen to sign up to leases and this allows us to produce an investment package which we can exit.
